    4. DONATIONS

    4.1 Avita

    Recommend to accept a $3000 sponsorship of the Galion High School Athletic Department as described in the athletic trainer service agreement.


    4.2 Firelands Federal Credit Union

    Recommend to accept $100 from staff at Firelands Federal Credit Union to be used for needy families/negative lunch balance accounts.


    4.3 Anonymous

    Recommend to accept $300 donation from Anonymous for Middle School hygiene supplies. 


    4.4 Arthur J. Freese Foundation

    Recommend to accept a $9500 donation from the Arthur J. Freese Foundation for handrails in the High School Gymnasium.


    4.5 Galion PTO

    Recommend to approve a donation of $1695.95 from the Galion PTO to cover all student negative balances from last semester for the Intermediate and Primary students.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Sherri McMullen, High School Secretary II, effective January 5, 2020.

    Recommend to approve employment of the following Classified Substitute Personnel, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements as applicable to the position for the 2019-2020 school year: 

    • Jonathan Noggle - Substitute Bus Driver

    Recommend to approve Sherri McMullen as Transportation Supervisor, effective January 6, 2020.

    Recommend to approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the Galion Board of Education and the Galion Educational Association regarding an Enrichment Intervention Teacher, as attached:

    Recommend to approve the following High School field trip for the 2019-2020 school year:

    • January 30, 2020 - Sophomore class visit to Pioneer Career & Technology Center in Shelby, OH.
