Recognize Galion Middle School/Galion City School District as a 2016-2017 "Momentum Award" recipient by the Ohio State Board of Education and the Ohio Department of Education. RESOLUTION- RECOGNIZE INDOOR TRACK & FIELD AS A STUDENT TEAM ACTIVITY WITHIN THE GALION CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Galion City School District Board of Education hereby recognizes Boy's and Girl's Indoor Track and Field as an authorized student team activity in the Galion City School District for the 2017-2018 school year;
FURTHER, the Board requests recognition by the Ohio High School Track and Cross Country Coaches Association thereby permitting the participating students of the Galion City School District to compete in the annual Ohio Indoor Track Meet at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, OH on March 3, 2018.
