    4. *RESOLUTION - ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF - SALARY AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION RATES

    4.1 *Administrative Staff

    Recommend to rescind the attached employee base salary and insurance contribution rates for Administrative Staff for the period August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2022.


    5. * ACADEMIC SUPPORT & STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES SPECIALIST

    Recommend to approve a new job description for Academic Support & Student Opportunities Specialist, as attached:


    6. * SUPERINTENDENT'S RECOMMENDATIONS- PERSONNEL

    6.1 * Administrative Assignments

    Recommend the transfer and approval of a two-year administrative contract for Ronald Williams, High School Principal to the position of Academic Support & Student Opportunities Specialist, effective August 1, 2021 through July 31, 2023 with the salary to be based on the Administrative Salary Plan for the assigned position, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.

    Recommend the approval of a two-year administrative contract for Tasha Stanton to the position of High School Principal, effective August 1, 2021 through July 31, 2023 with the salary to be based on the Administrative Salary Plan for the assigned position, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.


    6.2 * Certified

    Recommend to issue an amended contract to Amy Tyree, High School Teacher for the 2021-2022 contract year, from a Limited Contract (First year of first three year) to a Continuing Contract.

    Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year teaching contract to Kathleen Scott, High School Teacher, effective with the 2021-2022 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 8 for the 2021-2022 school year as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Anisa Warr, High School Teacher, effective at the end of the 2020-2021 contract year.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Nicole Cotton, High School Teacher, effective at the end of the 2020-2021 contract year.


    6.3 * ADDENDUM ITEM - Classified

    Recommend to approve the employment of Jeffrey Jones, Bus Driver, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Employment terms to be based upon Article 4 of Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Galion City Schools Board of Education and OAPSE Local #370 Salary Schedule for the 2021-2022 school year

    Recommend to approve employment of the following as 2021 summer workers for the District:

    6.5 * Pupil Activity Contracts

    Recommend to approve the following Athletic Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2021-2022 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    • Ryan Stover - Varsity Head Boys Basketball Coach

    Recommend to amend the Pupil Activity Assignment for Tom Pawsey, from Assistant Varsity Girls Tennis (Split Contract) to Volunteer Varsity Girls Tennis for the 2021-2022 school year.


    6.6 * Certified Extra-Duty

    Recommend to amend the approval of Angela Degray as Junior Class Advisor for the 2021-2022 school year, to Junior Class Advisor for the 2020-2021 school year.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable.

    Recommend to approve Maggie Carr as Junior Class Advisor for the 2020-2021 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable.

    Recommend to approve the following Certified Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2021-2022 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    • Ashlee Cuttitta - RESA Coordinator

    Recommend to amend the Certified Extra-Duty Assignment for Lindsey Gribble, from Assistant Varsity Girls Tennis (Split Contract) to Assistant Varsity Girls Tennis with the full stipend for the 2021-2022 school year.


    6.7 * 2021-2022 Local Professional Development Administrative and Committee members

    Recommend to approve the following LPDC Administrative and Committee Members for the 2021-2022 school year, per the terms and conditions of the GEA negotiated agreement:

    7. FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT

    7.1 Annual Food Service Compliance Report

    7.2 * 2021-2022 Breakfast and Lunch Prices

    Recommend to approve the following breakfast and lunch prices for school year 2021-2022.  However, all student breakfasts and lunches will be free for the 2021-2022 school under President Biden's American Rescue Plan, Seamless Summer Program.

    • All student breakfasts with milk:  $1.75
    • High School & Middle School lunch with milk:  $3.25
    • Intermediate School & Primary School lunch with milk:  $3.00
    • All students reduced breakfast with milk:  $0.30
    • All students reduced lunch with milk:  $0.40
    • Adult breakfast:  $2.25
    • Adult lunch:  $3.75
    • Only milk:  $0.50

     


    8. * 2021-2022 SCHOOL BUS ROUTES/STOPS

    Recommend to approve the school bus routes/stops for the 2021-2022 school year and to authorize the Superintendent to make "as needed" revisions throughout the school year.


    9. * AGREEMENTS

    9.1 * Mid-Ohio ESC Service Agreement 2021-2022

    Recommend to approve the "estimated" service agreement between the Galion City School District and Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, effective for the 2021-2022 school year, as attached:


    9.2 * Galion Health Department- Nursing Services Agreement

    Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City Board of Education and the Galion City Health Department, for the purpose of administering nursing services for the 2021-2022 school year, as attached:


    10. * FIELD TRIPS

    10.1 * Band Trip to Nashville, TN- Spring 2022

    Recommend to approve a Band Trip to Nashville, TN April 7-10, 2022. Participants will travel by chartered bus to attend the Heritage Festival and will also include visits to the Country Music Hall of Fame, exhibits, and other music related activities. The trip will be funded by various fundraisers/donations and students may earn free academic credits. The Music Parents Club will be required to submit a $850.00 non-refundable deposit upon approval from the Board of Education to lock in travel rates for the trip.


    11. * MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

    11.1 * GEA - Teacher Start Times

    Recommend to approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the Galion Board of Education and the Galion Educational Association regarding the teacher start times for the 2021-2022 school year, as attached:
