    Recommend to approve the following Certified Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2020-2021 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    Recommend to approve employment of the following Classified Substitute Personnel, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements as applicable to the position, for the 2020-2021 school year:

    Recommend to approve employment of the following personnel, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position, for the 2020-2021 school year:

    7. AGREEMENTS

    7.1 Reserve School

    Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City School District and Applewood Centers, Inc., operating under an educational institution known as Reserve School, for the provision of special education and related services for a qualified student who resides in the Galion City School District, for the 2020-2021 school year.


    8. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

    8.1 City of Galion/Galion City Police Department

    Recommend to approve an addendum to the MOU originally approved on September 17, 2020 between the Galion City School District and the City of Galion/Galion City Police Department, extending the term of agreement through June 1, 2023, as attached:

    11. BOARD DESIGNATIONS

    11.1 President Pro-Tem Appointment

    Recommend the Board elect a President Pro-Tem for the Organizational Meeting in January to lead the meeting until the Board elects a President for 2021.


    11.2 January 2021 Organizational & Regular Meetings

    Recommend the Board set the date of the Organizational Meeting of the Galion City Board of Education for Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 6:15 p.m. at the Galion Middle School Computer Lab. 

    Recommend the Board set the date of the Regular Board of Education meeting for January 12, 2021 at 6:30 p.m., to take place immediately following the Organizational Meeting on January 12, 2021, at the Galion Middle School Computer Lab.
