Recommend to approve the health care related insurance premium rates, effective January 1, 2021 as follows:

Recommend to accept a $4,000 donation from the Galion Elementary PTO for the benefit of the Galion Primary Principal's Fund ($2,000) and the Galion Intermediate Principal's Fund ($2,000)
Recommend to accept the donation of over 50 gallons hand sanitizer (a value of $1500) from the Iron Vault Distillery to the Galion City School District.
Recommend to accept 240 meals (one for each staff member) from KFC in Galion.
Recommend to accept $1000 from an anonymous donor for Girls Soccer uniforms.
Recommend to accept $10,000 from the Galion Community Education Foundation for the continuation and growth of the Robotics Program.
Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Ron Williams, Galion High School Principal, from Masters to Masters 15, effective with the first pay of the current contract year, per the administrative salary table.
Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Alison Weltmer, Galion Middle School Teacher, from Bachelors to Masters, effective with the first pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement.
Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Sarah Wegesin, Galion Primary School Teacher, from Masters to Masters + 15, effective with the first pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement.
Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Hannah Douglas, Galion Intermediate School Teacher, from Bachelors + 12 to Bachelors + 24, effective with the first pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement.

Recommend to approve the following Athletic Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2020-2021 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position. Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:
Recommend to approve Vickie Adams as Crossing Guard, to be paid at a rate of $10.00 per hour, not to exceed 25 hours per week.
Recommend to approve the amended agreement between the Galion City School District and Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, new effective date of September 1, 2020 through January 15, 2021, for the purpose of providing Professional Development services for Galion St. Joseph School, as attached:
Recommend to approve the agreement between Galion City School District and Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, effective from August 18, 2020 through June 4, 2021 for the purpose of providing Professional Development services, as attached:
Recommend to approve the contract services agreement between the Galion City School District and Community Counseling Services, Inc., for the purpose of providing Licensed Counselor or Licensed Social Worker to District students in need, effective for the 2020-2021 school year, as attached:
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code, Section 4511.191, (L)(2)(e), currently known as the DUI Law, established the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Grants Fund to be housed and administered by the Office of the Attorney General of Ohio; and
WHEREAS, the primary purpose of the D.A.R.E. Grants Program is to assist in providing funds to local law enforcement agencies, specifically for the salaries of certified D.A.R.E. officers teaching, or planning to teach, the approved D.A.R.E. curriculum in the local schools; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Galion City Board of Education to avail ourselves of the opportunities provided by this program and to participate with complete commitment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Galion City Board of Education, Galion, Ohio the majority of all members elected or appointed thereto concurring that:
Section 1: The Galion City Board of Education supports all efforts by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department to pursue funding to implement the D.A.R.E. Program in the Galion City Schools.
Recommend to approve the Second and Final Read of the attached Board Bylaws and Policies:
