    3. DONATIONS

    3.1 Donation - Galion Building and Loan

    Recommend to accept the donation of calculators from Galion Building and Loan to each Galion Middle School sixth grade student.  This is the twenty-seventh year the organization has made the donation to Galion's sixth grade students.


    3.2 Donation - Anonymous and Music Parents Club Boosters

    Recommend to accept the donation of a Matte Black Clavinova Console Digital Piano with Bench, valued at $3,250


    3.3 Donation - Gridiron Club

    Recommend to accept the donation of $1000 from the Gridiron Club for field maintenance.


    3.4 Donation - Christ United Methodist Church; Permanant Endowment

    Recommend to accept donation of $1,000.00 from Christ United Methodist Church Permanent Endowment Fund for the Galion City School District Campus Wear Fund and for the Negative Lunch Balance Fund.

    In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3307.353, this is the public hearing regarding the proposed reemployment of James Grubbs, Jr. as Superintendent of the Galion City School District for the period starting January 7, 2019 through May 31, 2020.

    Anticipated public action to reemploy James Grubbs will occur at the Board's regular December Board Meeting, scheduled for December 18, 2018 at 6:30 PM at Galion Middle School Computer Lab, 474 Portland Way N. Galion, Ohio 44833

    5.1 Administrative

    Recommend to accept the retirement resignation of Jim Grubbs, Superintendent, effective January 1, 2019.


    5.2 Classified

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Pam Morse, Bus Driver, effective November 26, 2018.

    Recommend to accept the retirement resignation of Jennifer McPeek, Bus Driver, effective May 31, 2019.

    Recommend to approve the employment of the following classified substitute personnel, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements as applicable to the position for the 2018-2019 school year:

    5.3 Athletic Extra-Duty Assignments

    Recommend to approve the following Athletic Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2018-2019 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position. Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    6. AGREEMENTS

    6.1 Step by Step Academy, Inc. (aka Boundless) Agreement

    Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City School District and Step by Step Academy, Inc., for the purpose of providing specialized services to students in need, effective August 30, 2018 through June 6, 2019, as attached:


    6.2 Parental Transportation Agreement

    Approve transportation by school conveyance is impractical for the following students during the 2018-2019 school year; further approve to pay the parent (or guardian) of said student in-lieu of providing such service. Amount to be calculated by the Ohio Department of Education for the 2018-2019 school year and as per section 3327.01 of the Ohio Revised Code:

    Recommend to approve an Exclusive Right to Sell or Exchange with Craig A. Miley Realty & Auction, for the former high school site at 200 West Church Street, effective November 21, 2018 through May 21, 2019, as attached:


    7. RESOLUTION - ADMINSTRATIVE CONTRACT ADDENDUMS

    Recommend to approve a resolution to authorize the issuance of written addendums to the Superintendent's current contract and to the Treasurer's current contract, respectively, with such contract addendums effective August 1, 2018, as attached:
