    Recommend to accept $6,406 from Galion Boosters Club for Baseball field maintenance, Receipt # 240914

    Recommend to accept 1,080 Solar Eclipse Glasses valued at $1,062 from the Rotary Club of Bucyrus

    3.3 Superintendent's Recommendations - Certified

    Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Kelly Showecker, Intermediate School Teacher, from Bachelors + 24 to Masters, pro-rated and effective the the fourteenth pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement

    Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Calli Bauer, Middle School Teacher, from Bachelors + 24 to Masters, pro-rated and effective the the fourteenth pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement


    3.4 Superintendent's Recommendations - Certified Extra-Duty

    Recommend to approve the following Certified Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2023-2024 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    Recommend to approve compensation for the following Certified Staff for accompanying 6th grade students to Heartland Outdoor School:

    • Jon Stinehour - $175
    • Curt Wiggins - $350

    3.6 Superintendent's Recommendations - Classified

    Recommend to approve the employment of Jessica Kildow, Educational Assistant, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Employment terms to be based upon Article 4 of Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Galion City Schools Board of Education and OAPSE Local #370 Salary Schedule at Step 0 for the 2023-2024 school year.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Trevor Tallman, Bus Mechanic, effective March 10, 2024.


    3.7 Superintendent's Recommendations - Pupil Activity Contracts

    Recommend to approve the following Pupil Activity Contracts for the 2023-2024 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position. Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    Recommend to adopt the resolution authorizing membership in the Ohio High School Athletic Association for the 2024-2025 school year, as attached:

    Recommend to approve the following field trips for the 2023-2024 school year:

    Recommend to approve participation in open enrollment with school districts throughout the state of Ohio for the 2024-2025 school year.
