    5. SUPERINTENDENT'S RECOMMENDATIONS - PERSONNEL

    Approve the employment of the following personnel contingent upon subsequent receipt by the Board of a satisfactory criminal record check from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Federal Bureau of Investigation as required by law and applicable state certification:


    5.1 Administration

    Award a two-year administrative contract to Cindy Parrott, Special Education Coordinator, through July 31, 2017 with salary to be based upon the Administraitve Salary Range for that assigned position.

    Approve the following Tutors as Auxillary Service Program Enrichment Tutors for students at St. Joseph School for the 2016-2017 school year at a rate of $20.00 per hour to be paid from Auxillary Service Funds:

    Approve the Superintendent to change the Substitute Teacher pay rate to $80.00 per day.

    Approve the employment of Frances E. Symsick as Part Time Transportation Secretary II, effective August 15, 2016. Salary to be based upon the Secretary II Pay Scale for the 2016-2017 school year.

    Approve the employment of Dustin Edgell, Night Custodian, effective August 29, 2016. Salary to be based upon the Custodian Pay Scale for the 2016-2017 school year.

    Approve the following as full time Bus Drivers, effective August 22, 2016. Salaries to be based upon the Bus Driver Pay Scale for the 2016-2017 school year:

    5.8 UNPAID LEAVE OF ABSENCE

    Pursuant to ORC 3319.13, the negotiated agreement between Galion Education Association and Board of Education Galion Cty School Dstrict and formal notification from State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS) change status of Michelle Moreton to UNPAID LEAVE OF ABSENCE.


    6. AGREEMENTS

    6.1 Professional Photographer

    Approve a one year agreement with Images by Erin, professional photographer, to provide individual and team photos for the middle school extra-curricular activities.


    6.2 Community Counseling Services, Inc.

    Approve an agreement with Community Counseling Services, Inc. as attached.


    6.3 Step by Step Academy

    Approve contracts with Step by Step Academy for the 2016-2017 school year for affected students at service levels and rates as determined by the Special Education Director.


    6.4 Silver Lining Group

    Approve contracts with The Silver Lining Group for the 2016-2017 school year for affected students at service levels and rates as determined by the Special Education Director.


    7. GALION LOCAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE - HANDBOOK

    Approve second read on the revised Galion Local Professional Development Handbook as attached.


    8. BOARD BYLAWS AND POLICIES

    Approve the second read on the Board Bylaws and Policies as attached.

    10. BUS DRIVER HANDBOOK

    Approve the attached Bus Driver Handbook for the 2016-2017 school year.


    11. SCHOOL BUS ROUTES/STOPS 2016-2017

    Approve the school bus routes/stops for the 2016-2017 school year as recommended by the Superintendent and further authorize the Superintendent to make revisions as needed throughout the school year.


    12. EXECUTIVE SESSION

    An executive session is requested for one or more of the following matters to:
