An executive session is requested for one or more of the following matters to:
_XX____ a. consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or to consider the investigations of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee or "regulated individual"; unless the person being investigated of charges or complaints requests a public hearing;

_____ c. confer with the public body's attorney for the purpose of considering disputes if a court action concerning the dispute is either pending or imminent;

_____ f. consider specialized details of security arrangements if the information could be used for criminal purposes.
Recommend awarding James Grubbs, Superintendent, a contract effective October 1, 2015 and ending on July 31, 2018.
Approve the employment of the following personnel contingent upon subsequent receipt by the Board of a satisfactory criminal record check from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Federal Bureau of Investigation as required by law and applicable state certification:

Approve Christina Acernese as an Auxilliary Service Program Enrichment Tutor for students at St. Joseph School for the 2015-2016 school year at a rate of $20.00 per hour to be paid from the Auxilliary Service Funds
Approve the employment of Karen Sorensen as a substitute teacher for the 2015-2016 school year.
Approve the employment of Laura Rigdon as Educational Assistant at the Galion Primary School effective September 21, 2015. Salary to be based upon the Educational Assistant pay scale for the 2015-2016 school year.
Approve the employment of Lisa Perry as Educational Assistant at the Galion Primary School effective September 21, 2015. Salary to be based upon the Educational Assistant pay scale for the 2015-2016 school year.
Approve the employment of Ashley Smith as 2.5 hour cook at the Galion Intermediate School effective August 26, 2015. Salary to be based upon the Cook pay scale for the 2015-2016 school year.
Approve Jennifer Butcher as a Substitute Cook for the 2015-2016 school year.
Approve Joyce Atwood as a Substitute Secretary for the 2015-2016 school year.
Approve Marianne Thorpe as a Substitute Educational Assistant for the 2015-2016 school year.

Approve transportation by school conveyance is impractical for the following students during the 2015-2016 school year; further approve to pay the parent (or guardian) of said student in-lieu of providing such service.
