3.2 Superintendent's Recommendations - Pupil Activity Contracts

Recommend to approve the following Pupil Activity Contracts for the 2024-2025 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position. Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

  • Amy Jarvis - Spring Musical Accompanist
  • Darien Payne - Junior Varsity Baseball
  • Caden Mendiola - Volunteer Middle School Track

3.3 Resolution Authorizing Required Third Grade Assessments in Paper Format

Recommend to approve a resolution allowing the required Third Grade Assessments to be administered in a paper format for the 2025-2026 school year, as attached:

Recommend to approve the true up contract between the Galion City School District and Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, as attached:

3.6 Here Comes the Bus

Recommend to initiate termination clause of the Here Comes the Bus application contract through Synovia Solutions Inc., due to fiscal hardship.

Recommend to approve job descriptions for the following positions:

  • Food Service Supervisor (updated position name and contract days)

 


3.8 Field Trips

Recommend to approve the following field trips for the 2024-2025 school year:

  • March 19, 2025 - High School students participating in the Cardboard Boat Regatta at Col. Crawford High School
  • April 26, 2025 - After Prom transportation from GHS to Grace Point Church, Victory Lanes and Planet 14
  • May 2, 2025 - TI Rally in Columbus, OH

6. EXECUTIVE SESSION

An executive session is requested for one or more of the following matters to:
