    3.2 Donations

    Recommend to accept $1,104 from Galion City Schools Booster Club to fund six students at the 6th Grade Heartland Trip, Receipt # 240506

    Recommend to accept 136 TI calculators for the benefit of GMS 6th grade students valued at $1,761.20 from Galion Building and Loan. This is the 32nd year GBL has donated calculators to our students.

    Recommend to accept a donation of 6 totes of Legos to the Primary School classrooms, valued at approximately $900, from Bruce Clady.

    Recommend to accept $2,000 from Galion City Schools Booster Club for concrete pad at softball field, Receipt # 240656


    3.3 2023-2024 EJ Therapy Agreement

    Recommend to approve the contract between EJ Therapy and Galion City Schools for audiology services for the 23-24 school year, as attached:

    Recommend to approve a one-year agreement between the Galion Board of Education and NOVA, for the purpose of administering instructional services and materials related to virtual learning, as attached:

    6. * SUPERINTENDENT'S RECOMMENDATIONS- PERSONNEL

    6.1 Certified

    Recommend to accept the retirement resignation of Amy Keller, Speech Language Pathologist, effective March 22, 2024.


    6.2 Classified

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Carson Early, High School Educational Assistant, effective November 17, 2023.


    6.3 Certified Extra-Duty

    Recommend to approve the following Certified Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2023-2024 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    • Olivia Tanner - Freshmen Softball

    6.4 Pupil Activity Contracts

    Recommend to approve the following Pupil Activity Contracts for the 2023-2024 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position. Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    6.5 Pupil Activity Volunteers

    Recommend to approve the following Pupil Activity Volunteers for the 2023-2024 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position:

    8. EXECUTIVE SESSION

    An executive session is requested for one or more of the following matters to:
