Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City School District and River Education Services, LLC (LEAP), for the purpose of providing day treatment services to students in need, effective the 2023-2024 school year, as attached:
Recommend to approve sponsorship and accept donations for Spooktacular, an annual Trick or Treating event held on October 25, 2023 at the Galion Middle School. This event is a great extension of our school’s character education program, The Leader in Me. It provides students with opportunities to show leadership, build community relationships, and also make the transition from elementary school easier for students and families. In order to make the Spooktacular a success, we have reached out to area businesses to be part of this event as sponsors.
Recommend to approve a "Boo Bash" Dance on October 20, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Middle School students, all proceeds to benefit the Middle School PBIS fund.

Recommend to accept the retirement resignation of Amy Graham, Middle School Teacher, effective May 31, 2024.
Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year contract to McKenna Deskins, Primary School Teacher, effective with the 2023-2024 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position. Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 0 for the 2023-2024 school year, retroactive to the beginning of the school year, as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.
