    Recommend to approve the non-renewal of all individuals holding a Supplemental, Extra-Duty or Pupil Activity contract with the District at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year, as attached:

    Recommend to approve the non-renewal of all individuals holding a Retire/Rehire Contract with the District at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year, as attached:

    Recommend to approve an administrative contract for Brian Owens as Director of Building, Grounds & Transportation.  Salary to be based on the assigned position, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Emily Sycks, Primary School Teacher, effective at the end of the 21-22 school year.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Rich Ulmer, Middle School Teacher, effective at the end of the 21-22 school year.

    Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year teaching contract to Rebecca Duckworth, Intermediate School Teacher, effective with the 2022-2023 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 0 for the 2022-2023 school year as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year teaching contract to Tiffany Fox, Primary School Teacher, effective with the 2022-2023 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 6 for the 2022-2023 school year as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year teaching contract to Sarah Oney, Primary School Teacher, effective with the 2022-2023 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 0 for the 2022-2023 school year as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year teaching contract to Sierra Frost, Primary School Teacher, effective with the 2022-2023 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 0 for the 2022-2023 school year as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year teaching contract to Allison Fisher, High School Teacher, effective with the 2022-2023 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 0 for the 2022-2023 school year as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.


    6.5 Certified Extra-Duty

    Recommend to approve the following Teacher Evaluation Committee members for the 2021-2022 school year, per the terms and conditions of the GEA negotiated agreement:

    • Michelle Talbott

    Recommend to approve Mike Schaffner as a Home Instruction Tutor for the 2021-2022 school year, at the rate of $20.00 per hour.


    6.6 Classified

    Recommend to approve the non-renewal of the following individuals holding a retire/rehire contract with the district at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year:

    • Bill Hurlow - Bus Driver

    Recommend to approve the employment of the following employees, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Employment terms to be based upon Article 4 of Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Galion City Schools Board of Education and OAPSE Local #370 Salary Schedule for the 2022-2023 school year.

    • Bill Hurlow - Bus Driver

    Recommend to approve the employment of Erica Geiger, Lead Building Secretary, effective for the 2022-2023 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Employment terms to be based upon Article 4 of Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Galion City Schools Board of Education and OAPSE Local #370 Salary Schedule at Step 0 for the 2022-2023 school year.

    Recommend to approve employment of the following Classified Substitute Personnel, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements as applicable to the position, for the 2021-2022 school year:

    • Crystal Wilcox - Substitute Cook

    7. * FIELD TRIPS

    Recommend to approve the following Middle School field trips for the 2021-2022 school year:

    • May 2, 2022 - Tentative date for the 6th grade field trip to the D.A.R.E. Rally at the Crawford County Fairgrounds in Bucyrus, OH
    • May 20, 2022 -  Incentive trip for all grades to the Tiger's Den in Galion, OH

    Recommend to approve the following High School field trips for the 2021-2022 school year:

    • May 11, 2022 - Zoology class field trip to the Columbus Zoo in Powell, OH

    Recommend to approve the following Athletic trips for the 2021-2022 school year:

    • June 6-7, 2022 - Boys Basketball Summer Camp at University of Findlay in Findlay, OH

    8. * 2022-2023 ATHLETIC HAND BOOK AND CODES OF CONDUCT

    Recommend to approve the Galion City Schools Athletic Coach's Handbook, Athletic Code of Conduct and Parents & Athletes Handbook for the 2022-2023 school year, as attached:
