    2. EXECUTIVE SESSION

    An executive session is requested for one or more of the following matters to:

    Recommend to approve granting the following non-compensated photographers the authorization to take photographs at extra-curricular activities for the Galion City School District, effective for the 2022-2023 school year:

    Recommend to approve compensation for the following Certified Staff for up to 2 hours for completing evaluations of preschool students, at $25.00 per hour:

    7.2 Certified Extra-Duty

    Recommend to approve the following Certified Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2022-2023 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    7.3 Classified

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Amy Heydinger, Middle School Educational Assistant, effective August 12, 2022.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Cindy Nicholls, Intermediate School Educational Assistant, effective August 12, 2022.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Allison Kiss, Secretary II, effective August 2, 2022.

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Kerri Ganshorn, Full Time Cook, effective August 5, 2022.

    Recommend to approve the employment of Brenda Stough, transferring from Part Time Cook to Full Time Cook, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Employment terms to be based upon Article 4 of Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Galion City Schools Board of Education and OAPSE Local #370 for the 2022-2023 school year.

    Recommend to approve the employment of Patti Suter, Bus Driver, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Employment terms to be based upon Article 4 of Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Galion City Schools Board of Education and OAPSE Local #370 Salary Schedule at Step 8 for the 2022-2023 school year.


    7.4 Pupil Activity Contracts

    Recommend to approve the following Athletic Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2022-2023 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    • Summer Flick - Volunteer Varsity Volleyball                           
    • Kellen Kiser - Middle School Cross Country                             
    • Jasmine Clingman - Volunteer Middle School Cross Country        

    8. * WORK BASED LEARNING PROGRAM HANDBOOK
