Whereas a vacancy has been caused in this Board of Education by reason of resignation; and
Whereas this Board of Education has by law authority to fill a vacancy for the unexpired term thereof;
Now, therefore, be it resolved by a majority vote of all the remaining members of the board of education of the Galion City School District that Melissa Miller be and hereby is, appointed to serve as a member of the board of education of this school district in the vacated seat of Mr. Brian Owens. This appointment has a term that ends on December 31, 2021.

Recommend to approve 2020-2021 School Handbooks for Galion High School, Galion Middle School, Galion Intermediate School and Galion Primary School as attached:
Recommend to approve iPad Handbooks for the 2020-2021 school year, one for Kindergarten through 5th grade students and one for 6th grade through 12th grade students, as attached:
Recommend to award Charlene Parkinson, Treasurer, a contract effective August 1, 2020 through July 31, 2023 per the Treasurer Salary Schedule and conditions of the contract.
Recommend to issue a one-year supplemental contract to Paul Wheeler as the Director of Federal Programs/CCIP Administrator for the 2020-2021 school year.
Recommend to approve Unclassified Administrative Support Staff Contracts for the following, effective July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, with salary to be based upon the Administrative/Unclassified Administrative Salary Plan for the 2020-2021 school year:
Recommend to accept the resignation of Ayako Hampton, Primary School Teacher, effective at the end of the 2020-2021 contract year.
Recommend to approve the following Certified Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2020-2021 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position. Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

Recommend to accept the resignation of Anna Matney, Middle School Educational Assistant, effective July 7, 2020.
Recommend to approve the attached 2020-2021 revised District Calendar. The revision includes two additional staff in-service days, on August 18 and 19, 2020 and moves the student's first day of classes to August 20, 2020.
Recommend to approve the contract service agreement between the Galion City School District and Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, effective for the 2020-2021 school year, for the purpose of providing a Family Engagement Coordinator and Social Worker to the District, as attached:
Recommend to approve the agreements between the Galion City School District and NCOCC, beginning July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, as attached:
Recommend to approve a one-year agreement between the Galion Board of Education and NOVA, for the purpose of administering instructional services and materials related to virtual learning, as attached:
Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City School District and Step by Step Learning, LLC, for the purpose of providing a professional development model for teachers and administrators, as attached:
Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City School District and SPARC Council Services, for the purpose of providing career coach services, effective August 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, as attached:
Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City School District and Community Counseling Services, Inc., for the purpose of providing a Licensed Counselor or Licensed Social Worker or providing a Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) Worker to District students in need, at no cost to the District, for the 2020-2021 school year.
Recommend to approve a resolution to adopt a calamity day alternative make-up plan for the 2020-2021 School Year, as attached:
