Whereas a vacancy has been caused in this board of education by reason of resignation; and
Whereas this board of education has by law authority to fill a vacancy for the unexpired term thereof;
Now, therefore, be it resolved by a majority vote of all the remaining members of the board of education of the Galion City School District that Brian Carson be and hereby is, appointed to serve as a member of the board of education of this school district in the vacated seat of Mr. Heath Watkins. This appointment has a term that ends on December 31, 2015.

Approve the employment of Christine Cletzer as substitute teacher for the 2014-2015 school year.
Accept the retirement resignation of Charles A. Haspeslagh, Bus Mechanic, effective March 1, 2015.
Approve the employment of Danya C. Wilson as Payroll Supervisor, effective January 1, 2015. Salary to be based upon the Payroll Supervisor Payscale for the 2014-2015 school year.

School Health Services Agreement between Galion St. Joe's, Galion CSD and Board of Health, City of Galion and approval of then and now invoices from the beginning of the school year.
Approve a contract for Pupils with Disabilities that are Galion resident students attending Bucyrus City School District through court placement for the 2014-2015 school year.
Approve the membership dues for OSBA in the amount of $4,525.00. In addition approve membership in the OSBA Legal Assistance Fund in the amount of $250.00
Approve an agreement with VCS, Virtual Community School, as attached. Approve then and now invoice numbers #21, 22, 23 from VCS, not shown becaue of confidential student data.
Approve the Technology Assistant job description and payscale as presented.
Recommend the Board set the date for the Organiztional Meeting of the Galion City Board of Education for Thursday, January 15, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Galion Middle School Computer Lab.
Recommend the Board elect a President Pro-tem for the Organizational Meeting in January to lead the meeting until the Board elects the President for 2015.
