    6. SUPERINTENDENT'S RECOMMENDATIONS - PERSONNEL

    Approve the employment of the following personnel contingent upon subsequent receipt by the Board of a satisfactory criminal record check from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Federal Bureau of Investigation as required by law and applicable state certification:


    6.1 Certified

    Approve Krista McKibben to be paid $1800 for teaching two dual enrollment full-year classes (Advanced Math and Calculus) in cooperation with North Central State College for the 2013-2014 school year.


    6.2 Extra-Duty Assignment Resignation

    Accept resignation of Josh Riggle as the District Leadership Team member (DLT) and Building Leadership Team member (BLT) for the 2013-2014 school year.


    6.3 Extra-Duty Assignments

    Approve  the following Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2013-2014 school year:

    Matthew Clum, Co-Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach

    ADDENDUM ITEM - Kyle Burris, Middle School Wrestling Co-Coach


    6.4 Home Instruction Tutor

    Approve Sara Lutz as a Home Instruction Tutor for the 2013-2014 school year at the rate of $20.00 per hour.


    7. FINANCIAL RECOMMENDATIONS

    7.1 ADDENDUM ITEM - Authorization to Represent

    Recommend that the Galion City School District Board of Education authorize Mr. Mark Stefanik as Superintendent and Ms. Mary T. Day as Treasurer to issue an official response to the Auditor of the State of Ohio pertaining to the recommendations of the performance audit presented in January of 2014.


    8. AGREEMENT

    8.1 ADDENDUM ITEM - Apex Learning

    Approve a contract with Apex Learning for a digital learning solution as attached.


    8.2 ADDENDUM ITEM - North Central Ohio Educational Service Center

    Approve an agreement between Galion City School District and North Central Ohio Educational Service Center for substitute nursing services at an hourly rate of $38.83, invoiced monthly effective 11/4/13 through 7/31/14.


    9. CURRICULUM

    Approve the second read for High School Accounting curriculum for grades 9-12.

     

    Approve the second read of  Marketing Essentials, 2012 ed., Glencoe Publishing for the HS Marketing class,
