    3.3 Superintendent's Recommendations - Certified Personnel

    Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Heather Nicholson, Middle School Teacher, from Masters to Masters + 15, effective with the first pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Kaisey Speck, Intermediate School Teacher, from Bachelors to Masters, effective with the first pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Laura Humberson, Instructional Coach, from Bachelors + 24 to Masters, effective with the first pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale for Julie Gove, Middle School Teacher, from Masters + 15 to Masters + 30, effective with the first pay of the current contract year, per Article X of the Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year contract to Jenny Holt, GOA Coordinator, effective with the 2024-2025 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 10 for the 2024-2025 school year, as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.


    3.4 Superintendent's Recommendations - Certified Extra-Duty

    Recommend to approve the following Certified Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2024-2025 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City school District and  the Safely Home Residential School for the 2024-2025 school year.


    3.11 2024-2025 Mid-Ohio ESC Agreement

    Recommend to approve the service agreement between the Galion City School District and Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, effective for the 2024-2025 school year, as attached:


    3.12 2024-2025 Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plan (RIMP)

    Recommend to approve the attached Reading Improvement and Monitoring Plans for the Intermediate and Primary Schools for the 2024-2025 school year, as attached:


    3.13 Appoint Designees

    Recommend to appoint Helen Compton as the Board designee to hear any student expulsion appeals for the 2024-2025 school year.

    Recommend to appoint Melisa Watters as the Board designee to hear any student suspension appeals for the 2024-2025 school year.


    3.14 CEP Program for the 2024-2025 School Year

    Recommend to approve participation in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP), which will provide free school breakfast and lunches to all Galion City School students for the 2024-2025 school year.
