    6.1 Certified

    Recommend to approve Tristan Anderson as a Substitute Teacher, effective January 3, 2023, to be paid at a rate of $125 per day.

    Recommend to approve Kurtis (Norm) Steinmetz as a Long Term Substitute Teacher, effective January 9, 2023, to be paid at a rate of $125 per day.

    Recommend to approve $1600 compensation for Isaac Keinath for completing the required Intro to Engineering coursework training completed in December 2022 through Project Lead the Way.


    6.2 Classified

    Recommend to approve the employment of Brittany Sublett, Part-time Bus Driver, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Employment terms to be based upon Article 4 of Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Galion City Schools Board of Education and OAPSE Local #370 Salary Schedule at Step 0 for the 2022-2023 school year.

    Recommend to approve the following Primary School field trip for the 2022-2023 school year:

    • January 31, 2023 - Kindergarten students to the Buckeye Children's Imagination Museum in Mansfield, OH

    Recommend to approve the following Middle School field trips for the 2022-2023 school year:

    • January 10 & 11, 2023 - Incentive trip for qualifying 6th, 7th and 8th grade students to Snow Trails in Mansfield, OH
    • March, date TBD - Incentive trip for qualifying 6th, 7th and 8th grade students to Victory Lanes in Galion, OH
    • May, date TBD - Incentive trip for qualifying 6th, 7th and 8th grade students to Altitude Trampoline Park in Ontario, OH

    10. EXECUTIVE SESSION

    An executive session is requested for one or more of the following matters to:
