    2.6 Superintendent's Recommendations - Personnel

    Certified:

    Recommend to approve the employment and issuance of a one-year teaching contract to Michelle Brown, lntervention Specialist, effective with the 2021-2022 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Salary to be based upon the Teacher's salary schedule at Step 0 for the 2021-2022 school year as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.

    Recommend to approve compensation in the amount of $20 per hour, for completion of work during the 2021 summer for the following Certified Staff:

    • Amy Johnson
    • Elizabeth Volz
    • Sarah Wegesin

    Recommend to approve a Long Time Substitute Contract for Kathleen Davis, effective August 19, 2021

     

    Certified Extra-Duty:

    Recommend to approve the following Certified Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2021-2022 school year, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement, if applicable:

    Pupil Activity Contracts:

    Recommend to accept the resignation of Adam Lehman as Safety Patrol Advisor for the 21-22 school year.

    Recommend to approve employment of the following personnel, contingent upon state certification and/or requirements applicable to the position, for the 2021-2022 school year:

    • Judy Cortelletti - COVID Compliance Support at a rate of $20 per hour

    Recommend to approve the contract services agreement between the Galion City School District and Community Counseling Services, Inc., for the purpose of providing Licensed Counselor or Licensed Social Worker to District students in need, commencing on or about August 24, 2021 and running through June 4, 2022, as attached:

    Recommend to approve the EMIS service agreement between the Galion City School District and NCOCC, beginning July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, as attached:

    Recommend to approve the agreement between the Galion City School District and NCOCC/H-COG for services effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, as attached:


    2.14 2021-2022 LEAP Program Agreement

    Recommend to approve an agreement between the Galion City School District and River Education Services, LLC (LEAP), for the purpose of providing day treatment services to students in need, effective for the 2020-2021 school year, as attached:

    Recommend to give authorization to the Superintendent to change the Galion City Schools Return and Reset Plan if and when the need arises.
