    3.1 Donation - Crawford County Retired Teachers

    Recommend to accept $350.00 from The Crawford County Retired Teachers Association to establish a fund to be used to purchase school supplies for children in need.


    3.2 Donation - Avita Health Systems

    Recommend to accept donation $3,000 from Avita Health Systems for benefit of Galion City Schools Athletic Department, Clorex Machine Equipment Purchase.


    3.3 Donation - Christ United Methodist Church; Kountry Kitchen

    Recommend to accept $2,325 from Christ United Methodist Church for the benefit of Galion School District Campus Wear Fund and for the Negative Lunch Balance Fund.

    5.1 Certified

    Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale, per Negotiated Agreement, for Sean Maguire, Galion Middle and High School Teacher, from Masters to Masters + 15, effective December 21, 2018.

    Recommend to approve a change of placement on the pay scale, per Negotiated Agreement, for Jamie Maguire, Galion Primary School Teacher, from Masters to Masters + 15, effective December 21, 2018.

    Recommend to approve the extension of the following Long Term Substitute Teacher Contract through January 31, 2019:

    5.2 Certified Extra-Duty

    Recommend to approve the following teachers for District Leadership Team (DLT) for the 2018-2019 school year.  Compensation to be based upon the Extra-Duty Pay Schedule as defined in the GEA Negotiated Agreement.

    5.3 Technology Support

    Recommend to approve the employment of Bryan Summer as a Technology Assistant, at the rate of $10.00 per hour, for up to 100 hours during the 2018-2019 school year.


    6. AGREEMENT

    Recommend to approve an amendment to an agreement between the Galion Board of Education and Maxim Healthcare Services for the purpose of providing health services staff to the district per the terms and conditions of the contract.  With this amendment, the rate has been adjusted, allowing for services for two students.


    7. 2019-2020 DISTRICT CALENDAR

    Recommend to approve the proposed 2019-2020 Galion City Schools district calendar, as attached:

    Recommend to approve membership renewals for Calendar Year 2019 with the attached organizations and associations

    10. RESOLUTION- OHIO PUBLIC EDUCATION WEEK

    Recommend to approve a resolution recognizing January 20-26, 2019 as Ohio Public Education Week, as attached.
