Hold a public hearing on the 2017-2018 Galion City Schools District Calendar and approve the first reading of the calendar as attached.
Approve the employment status of the following personnel, based upon subsequent receipt, contingent upon full and complete compliance with the State of Ohio and the Galion City Board of Education eligiblility criteria.
Recommend to amend Article 6.1 of the December 16, 2016 minutes by retracting the approval of employment to David A. Givens, Substitute Custodian, for the 2016-2017 school year.
Approve the resignation of Ashley Smith, Intermediate Cook, effective December 22. 2016, with December 21, 2016 being the last day of employment.
Approve the employment of Denise M. Wright as Bus Driver, effective January 5, 2017. Salary to be based upon the Bus Driver pay scale for the 2016-2017 school year.
Approve the retirement resignation of Jacki Corona, Food Service Supervisor, effective July 1, 2017, with June 30, 2017 being the last day of employment.
Recommend employment of the following individuals:
Approve membership renewals for Calendar Year 2017 with the following organizations and associations:
Reccomend to accept donations from the following:
The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War have donated (3) three Ohio Flags to the District, which were presented by Mary Hetter Keis and Cathy J. Brown of the Galion Tent #91. The flags will be displayed at the Primary School, the Intermediate School and Central Office.
