    Approve the employment of the following personnel contingent upon subsequent receipt by the Board of a satisfactory criminal record check from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Federal Bureau of Investigation as required by law and applicable state certification:


    6.1 Certified Resignation

    Accept the retirement resignation of Cynthia A. Rode, Language Arts Teacher at Galion Middle School, effective June 1, 2017 with May 31, 2017 being the last day of employment.


    6.2 ADDENDUM - CERTIFIED RESIGNATION

    Accept the retirement resignation of Loretta Feichtner, Pre-School teacher at Galion Primary School, effective June 1, 2017 with May 31, 2017 being the last day of employment.


    6.3 *ADDENDUM Certified

    Approve Sandra Maddox as Substitute Teacher for the 2016-2017 school year.


    6.4 Classified Resignations

    Accept the retirement resignation of Jennie L. Stevens, Secretary II for Athletic Director and Guidance at Galion High School, effective June 10, 2017 with June 9, 2017 being last day of employment.

    Accept the retirement resignation of Kenneth L. Burkhart, Head Custodian at Galion Intermediate School, effective June 29, 2017 with June 28, 2017 being last day of employment.


    6.5 Classified

    Approve Lora Brenneman as Substitute Cook for the 2016-2017 school year.


    6.6 Extra-Duty Resignation

    Accept the resignation of Colby Bright, Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach, effective October 13, 2016.


    6.7 Extra-Duty Assignments

    Approve the following Extra-Duty Assignments for the 2016-2017 school year:

    7. FINANCIAL RECOMMENDATIONS

    7.1 Major Medical Insurance Premium Rates

    Approve the following Major Medical Insurance Premium Rates effective January 1, 2016.


    7.2 Five Year Forecast

    Accept the Five Year Forecast and assumptions as presented for submission to the Ohio Department of Education.


    8. AGREEMENTS

    8.1 Professional Photographer

    Approve a one year agreement with Lynne Foust, professional photographer, to provide individual and team photos for the high school and middle school extra-curricular activities.


    8.2 Rock Solid Media, LLC

    Approve a 12 month contract with Rock Solid Media, LLC as attached.


    9. DONATIONS

    Accept the following donations:

    $1,500 from Galion LLC

    $100 from Crawford County Retired Teachers Association

    $50 from Galion Boosters


    10. MIDDLE SCHOOL TRIPS

    Approve a Middle School 8th Grade trip to DC, May 23-25, 2017, as per attachment.

    Approve a Middle School 6th Grade Mohican Outdoor School May 24-26, 2017 as per attachment.


    11. EXECUTIVE SESSION

    An executive session is requested for one or more of the following matters to:

    _____ a. consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of a public employee or official, or to consider the investigations of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee or "regulated individual"; unless the person being investigated of charges or complaints requests a public hearing;

    _____ b. consider the purchase or sale of public property if the public interest would be hurt by the premature disclosure of the information;

    _____ c. confer with the public body's attorney for the purpose of considering disputes if a court action concerning the dispute is either pending or imminent;

    _____ e. consider matters required by federal laws, or rules, or state statutes to be kept confidential;

    _____ f. consider specialized details of security arrangements if the information could be used for criminal purposes.
